Clear Packaging for a Clear Split

This is the Russian Circles/These Arms are Snakes Split that came out several months ago on Sargent House. Saw Russian Circles the other night in Philly at the First Unitarian Church, so I picked this up. I highly suggest you check out Russian Circles, especially their latest album, Station. Very good.

On - Control & DTN Addition

I got my pre-order for the On - Control released on Legitimate Bros. This is release #2 for the label. I expect more great things to come from the label and On. On features members of Go It Alone, Get The Most, Lights Out, Champion and Blue Monday. All bands you should also check out. I believe this is On's second release.

On - Control (White, Pre-Order Press, 350 Copies)
On - Control (Black, 900 Copies)
I also got my hands on another DTN 7" I don't have, this is the s/t on white/green mix vinyl. It looks like toothpaste to me. Either way, it's an addition to the collection. So many more to go.

Down to Nothing Collection

So I decided to put up my updated DTN collection. It's been a good process for almost a year now. I'm missing 3 LPs, plus test presses and a whole lot of 7"s. You might notice that for the Down to Nothing/On Thin Ice split towards the middle (the black and white covers), there are two black vinyls. They're not the same, one is the 3rd press with the normal label and the other is the 4th press with blank red labels.

Recent 7"s

Here are some recent 7"s I've picked up in the past few months. Top left is the Backtrack - 08 Demo, which I picked up at the Trapped Under Ice Dom Mallary Tribute show at the Corpse Fortress. Released on the same local label that put out Trapped Under Ice's Demo, Flatspot Records It's a band you should be checking out as soon as you can. To the right of that is Instilled - Unfinished Business. I got this as an extra bonus for a Down to Nothing record I picked up from someone I believe on eBay. Haven't listened to it yet. Bottom left is the latest Internal Affairs 7", Evil Egyptians. This is the Last East Coast Tour Press, which I picked up at their last show in Philly. The rest of the colors of the record are all equally cool looking, so I'll probably pick them up at some point. To the right of that is the New Found Glory - Tip of the Iceberg 7" which is the Hot Topic version, nothing real special, just picked up this version when I got their new LP.
Backtrack – The ’08 Demo (Transparent Orange, 350 Copies)
